Gay Tent Holidays - Getting Back to Nature is Taking the Gay Community by Storm!
Worldwide
Tent vacations are becoming increasingly popular amongst the gay community.
In part, this has been driven by the travel restrictions we all lived under during the COVID19 pandemic. However, the gay community are discovering that, pandemic or not, tent holidays have a lot to offer!
After all, what’s not to like about a cheap, flexible and fun holiday? Especially when you get to enjoy the breathtaking sights of the natural world - quite literally - outside your door.
A major benefit of camping holidays is flexibility. You can choose to travel to the seaside, to the mountains, to beautiful remote countryside, or even camp at an urban city farm.
Sleeping out in the wilderness with nothing but canvas between you and the night sky is an incredible experience - especially if you are camping in a location where magical campfires are permitted.
However, you can also choose to book a modern campsite with amenities such as clean toilets, a shop or even a campsite pub.
The flexibility of camping holidays makes them perfect for solo travellers, couples and families alike. Gay parents shouldn’t miss the opportuntiy to let their children connect with nature and experience the freedom of exploring the great outdoors.
Finally, camping holidays allow you to be spontaneous! You can jump in your car with nothing but a tent, a few supplies and your closest friends. Who knows where you might end up sleeping for the night, and what experiences await?
Do you have an incredible camping experience you’d like to share? We’d love to hear from you!
Popular UK Camping Destinations
Cornwall - It’s no secret that Cornwall is a stunning part of the UK. Millions of visitors flock there every single year, particularly during the summer. Camping in Cornwall is a great alternative to traditional accommodation, which can get very expensive in peak season.
Somerset - Somerset is another haven for campers in the UK. Set up your tent, explore the quaint villages dotted throughout the county, and even stop for a scrumpy cider at a traditional pub (put watch out - Somerset cider is notoriously strong!).
Scotland - Scotland is a special camping destination in the UK because, thanks to the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, you are allowed to wild camp! Although there’s something to be said for the comforts of a modern campsite, nothing beats trekking across the incredible Scottish highlands knowing that you’ll be spending the night out in the wilderness.
