Paris has two major airports near the city that you can access very easily. The great thing about it is that Paris is a worldwide hub. EVERYONE wants to visit it. That makes the city very accessible from anywhere in the world! You can check out the details of the airports below
1. Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport
- This airport is only 34km away from the center of the city
- It is the biggest airport in Paris and has connections with the entire world
- You can take the RER train from Terminal 1 or Terminal 2
- From Terminal 1, you can take the main airport shuttle to the station in RoissyPole
- If you land in Terminal 2 with AirFrance, the train station is located right below you.
- In both Terminals you should ask for a ticket to Paris Zone Urbaine
- You can also take the RoissyBus which operates every 15 to 20 minutes
- You can find Roissy Bus in Door 32 of Terminal 1 or Door 11 and Door 9 in Terminal 2
- The RoissyBus operates from 6AM to 11PM
- This airport is far closer. It is only 13km from the center of Paris
- The unfortunate thing is, the train does not run right through Orly Airport as it does with Charles de Gaulle
- You would need to take the OrlyVal trains to get to the main RER train station
- You can also take the Local Bus 183 from the Porte de Choisy Metro Station. It will take you longer than the train, though.
