Berlino - Capitale della Germania e leggendaria città gay
Germania
This gay city has tons of entertainment options. One of which is the most popular gay area near Nollendorfplatz Station. The Motzstrasse Street is filled with gay bars, cruising bars, and gay cafes. This fabulous gay city is perfect for gay couples, gay single men, and friends who are looking for a great time! On the Motzstrasse Street, which is where I believe you would be spending most of your gay holidays, there are tons of Gay Hotels and Gay Hostels a few steps away from the bars.
What is magical about Berlin is that whatever lifestyle you follow, there is something for you to do. If you’re a film nut, Fuggerstrasse is another gay street where you can find the, extremely, unique gay cinema! If you are the fashionista type who loves to snap a few shots for your Instagram page, there are tons of gay areas where you can head out on a shopping spree.
When you are out and about in this wonderful gay city, you will notice that Berlin has a welcoming and inviting vibe for all. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you identify as, or who you are attracted to. It is also perfect for all types of gay travellers. If you’re here as an excited single gay man, or you’re here on a gay honeymoon, you will feel comfortable. Another incredible gay trip to take to Berlin is with your group of close gay friends.
Berlin has some incredible places to visit. One of the most outstanding monuments I was lucky enough to witness was the Brandenburg Gate. A gem and emblem of this gay city that is fabulous to see during the day and night. For the gay travellers who have a passion and appreciation for art, the East Side Gallery, a historical landmark, is the perfect street where you can explore the talents of many artists. You could even walk around Museum Island at any part of the day. There you would have a wonderful view of boats decorating the Spree River.
If you’re looking to enjoy a trip to Mother Nature’s lovely talents, consider visiting the Tiergarten, a massive park where tourists love to have picnics, play sports, or enjoy the weather. It is a popular location for gay men. The Zoo Berlin is close by as well. Some tourists would buy drinks from shops such as Lidl and Edeka and enjoy them here. It’s much cheaper to buy and enjoy alcohol this way.
If you’re the type of gay man who wants to shop till they drop, the Alexanderplatz is Berlin’s central area filled with shopping malls. It is one of the city’s busiest places, so keep in mind that there will be a big crowd. When it’s time to head to the luxurious side of the shopping trip, Kurfürstendamm has tons of areas with luxury brands.
When it comes to safety, you wouldn’t find a more comfortable place to hold your partner’s hand than in Berlin. It’s the perfect escape from judging eyes. This gay city is filled with gay men of all ages who are coming from all over the world.
Keep in mind that most places, including the gay bars, street markets, and shops, don’t always accept card payments. So, make sure you have extra cash with you at all times. During my visit, I noticed that the only gay bar that accepted a card payment was the New Action Gay Bar.
What’s interesting about Berlin is the public transportation. The network of buses is very sophisticated so you can get anywhere in the city very easily. It even has some night buses that run regularly from some of the most popular gay areas. You would need to buy tickets before you get on the bus. There are no cash or card payments made on the bus. To get a ticket, there are machines outside/inside the stations. Keep your eye out for them.
Berlin is, truly, a lovely city popular for gay men with tons of adventures, action, and good times.
Before we book a holiday or a flight, check if we need a holiday visa or a transit visa (if we're not sure), just to have as little as possible unpleasant situation. The best you can check is on your embassy ( the origin of your passport), but other sites will also give you some ideas of how strong your passport is for free visa traveling; please check here.
I’d love to hear how you felt when you visit!
Enjoy your time!

Bar/Club/Saune
Honestly, I don’t know where to start when it comes to the gay bars and gay clubs. Berlin is swimming in a vibrant, energetic gay nightlife! Whether you’re looking for gay parties, chill bars, gay cruising bars, you will find the majority of these places in one of the main gay areas. It’s a 4-to-10-minute walk from Noellndorfplatz Station.
I’m going to remind you again that most places only accept cash and not card. So, make sure you have some extra with you. In most of the bars in the city, you are allowed to smoke inside; keep that in mind.
Check out the list of my recommendations below for some of the most popular gay bars in Berlin:
1. New Action
A lovely bar with an incredible atmosphere, music, and generous staff. This is one of the few places in Berlin that will accept card payment.
2. Woof Bar
This unique bar has the option to sit outdoors on the terrace. It’s perfect for a small break from the crowd inside. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating.
3. Bull-Berlin
Right next to the New Action Gay Bar, this place is boasting with vibrant vibes and an eccentric atmosphere.
4. Tom's Bar

You really do have a buffet of options.

Berlin is a super popular, touristic destination. They have tons of airports which can help you get to the city easily. Check out the options below to see what suits your kind of gay holiday.
This was the main international airport in Berlin. I believe it no longer is as of November 2020. Keep in mind that this airport may be closed as of November 2020 and all flights will be moved to the new airport named Berlin Brandenburg Airport. You can learn more about it below.
This airport is 18km from the center of the city and will take you around 30 to 45 minutes by S-Bahn. It is used, mostly, for low-cost airlines.
This is Berlin’s newest and main airport that should be open as of November 2020. All the flights from Berlin Tegel Airport will be moved to this one.
