This is for all those gay travellers who want to escape the city life or have already visited too many beaches. This is for all of you who are looking to spend a lovely, gay time surrounded by beautifully sculpted landscapes of the mountains. Austria is an all-time favourite for gay mountain destinations. With its price-to-quality ratio, it has placed this entire place in the lead for gay travellers.
Salzburg’s airport is the perfect connection point for both domestic and international flights. Its accessible nature makes it easier for those who are interested in winter sports, summer hikes, and an all-year-round vacation spot! Keep in mind that the local currency is in Euros, but you can use your credit or debit card in almost all places in Salzburg. This makes it so much easier for you to feel comfortable and to just enjoy your time.
Salzburg is very famous for its winter wonderlands, with the blankets of white snow covering the mountains as you sip on your hot chocolate on the balcony. However, if you wanted to enjoy this lovely, gay town, Salzburg is also a popular summer, gay destination. Their mountainous regions keep the gay vibe of the town alive all year long! When green covers the landscapes, you will have the perfect opportunity to hike the stunning mountains on your gay trips.
While you do not have to worry about being yourselves in Salzburg, you also don’t have to worry about any language barrier. Yes, the main language is German but all the locals of Austria speak English perfectly well. That’s another thing you can cross of your list.
There are some places I would recommend for those gay travellers who want to go skiing or hiking. Bad Hogastein and Kitzbuhel, Hohe Tauern, and Stausee Waterfallboden are just a few of the places you can check out. Salzburg is riddled with incredible places to visit.
Just bring your rainbow personalities, be your gay self, and enjoy a beautiful gay holiday in the summer and the winter.
